Nowadays, by improving the transportation’s methods and improvements in technology, people have more options in their daily choices. For instance, their shopping and connections to the other now are dramatically different. On the other hand, we can observe a sink for their decisions in some cases too. Both positive and negative views are mentioned below.
Firstly, due to the developments of technology in the last three decades, people now have more access to the products of all over the world by using the internet and online shopping centers. With this accessibility, the number of people’s choices increased drastically compared to the last. That is to say, not only can they search through the world’s stuff, but also they can buy them.
Secondly, after the revolution that happened in the transportation system, travelers, for instance, can journey around the world just by an airplane or train and we can observe growth in tourist destinations.
In contrast, statistics that published by researchers of the Sharif University of Technology last year, demonstrated that the population of the earth surged up in last years. Followed by, rarely can you find a peaceful place like far-flung coastal or jungle. That means, we have fewer destinations for relaxing now comparing to the one hundred years ago and this is a violation of the assumption.
In conclusion, I agree that now we have more choices in most of the things but this incremental trend caused a decrement on some occasions, and we cannot ignore this fact.
