Milad tower is the name of a telecommunication tower in the north-west of Tehran (capital of Iran). By 435meter height, this is the highest tower in Iran and 6th-tallest telecommunication tower in the world. Approximately this building is observable from all over the Tehran, so nowadays they count it as a symbol of Tehran.
Construction
In 1996, after three years of investigation, the municipality started the building and after 11 years they have done the construction (2007) with motto the sky is near.
Recreations
On top of Milad, there is a wonderful restaurant and cafe’ which could be a fantastic place for having a new experience. You can see all of the city in your seat cause restaurant is rotating slowly.
Public and private concerts are another entertainments of the tower. At some special days like Nowrooz – the first day of spring – you can see people from all over the country with lots of traditions variety. (like Kord, Balooch, Tork and etc)
